Location: Onsite (Bartow, FL)
Status: Full time
Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Days: Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
The Financial Assistance Specialist is responsible for identifying ER patients thru bedside assessment and interview who may be eligible for financial and social assistance from community agencies.
May act as a liaison between the patient and community agencies.
The Financial Assistance Specialist must be able to clearly documents all activities.

Required High School or equivalent
Experience
Required 3 years Healthcare customer service or Social Services with High School Diploma
OR 1 year Healthcare customer service or Social Services with an Associate's Degree
Preferred knowledge of community resources for unfunded/ underfunded patients
