For many years this 31-inch Asian 'sifter' decorated the wall of my home.
It has been described as a winnowing flower-drying basket.
I've had it displayed for over 20 years but don't know the actual age.
The 'reeds' are woven but are moveable with your fingers.
I have preferred that the reeds are uneven, but they can be moved slightly for more evenness.
It is in perfect condition.
As the photos indicate, it lays flat.
Highly unique vintage unfolding round retro bar.
This mid-century portable bar has retro black leather material with iconic deep button tufted detailing outside with shiny gold metal trim around the top and inside on shelves.
Trim forms a lip around the edge of bar to prevent glasses from falling off.
Wooden top with a portable section that locks into place and completes the bar top when opened.
This bar can stay put or can be moved on a whim! It's portable, moving easily on four casters.
Inside there is plenty of shelving for bottles, glasses, and desired barware.
Unfolded, the bar measures 40W
X 20D.
Folded, it measures 24W.
This is a very fun piece, and is very unique! This is a huge, English roll top desk.
This is dated 1910-1918.
Its a family heirloom, my father was an accountant and used it for his work.
I have seen exact same one sell for $1899 to $2999 so mine is very competitively priced.
Nice condition for its vintage and at least as good as any I've seen.
There was a period when these roll top desks were turned over to the kids to destroy and destroy they did; spilling paint, magic marker stains and writing, ink leaks and stains everywhere.
This desk served its entire life in-office use.
It would cost more to ship it to the U.

than my price.
The desk comes apart for easy moving.
Hate to see it go but moved from a house to an apartment.
It would be great in a lawyers or doctors office.
A prop master or decorator would have lots of use for it too.
I recall a roll-top desk just like this that was a centerpiece is a W.

Well, it was for me because I inherited it without a key and had to call a locksmith to come out to make a key.
I was hoping I was going to find some riches but it turned out like Al Capone's vault, nothing of value.

Just think of what the labor and material costs today to create such as masterpiece.
The quantity of oak wood alone would cost more than I am asking.
I have seen current models of this desk in oak selling for nearly $3000 and they have zero character.

IT IS APPROXIMATELY 50 INCHES HIGH, 60 INCHES WIDE AND 34 INCHES DEEP.
Dad passed away and simply getting rid of everything.
We haven't played it recently, but it worked years ago, and then of course he moved on to cd's and used to as a picture frame holder basically.
It probably just needs to be cleaned properly.
We are looking for someone who really wants this and will use it.
If you want to clean it up and sell it and you know about them, that's fine too, but we're pricing it at a point where we think you'll have room to spend a little more to get it in nice shape.
