The Veterinary Client Care Specialist provides the first impression and serves a vital role by assisting clients and their pets.
This multifaceted position, team members use their problem-solving skills to effectively guide the clients experience through multi-tasking and superior customer service.
Veterinary Client Care Specialists have the opportunity to earn $14.
00 to $20.
00 per hour depending on experience.
Strategic Focus

Greets clients and patients in a friendly and professional manner demonstrating poise and natural effort, quickly attending to client needs
Administrative duties such as medical record-keeping, process payments and schedule appointments
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Handle client complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives; follow up to ensure resolution
Requirements

The ideal Client Care Specialist:
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the veterinary field
Previous receptionist and veterinary practice experience are desirable but not required.
Ability to maintain a calm demeanor and open communication while helping clients whose pets have urgent medical problems.
Quickly learn how to pronounce, know the meaning of and spell commonly used veterinary terms.
Is experienced in the teamwork approach and works well with all levels of hospital team members.
Ability to adhere to attendance policy.
Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day.
Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people and understand written directions.
Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand, give information in person and over the telephone.
