Atlas Organics has immediate job openings for a local CDL A Driver! The CDL Driver will safely and efficiently operate a heavy haul tractor-trailer to transport equipment and deliver various products (compost, mulch) with a walking floor trailer to customer locations.
Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.
No overnight hauling, home every night.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Delivery of product
* Communicate with customers about schedule, status or other delivery changes, and provide satisfactory delivery service
* Daily cleaning, fueling and inspection of truck; communicate issues to Mechanic team
* Driver hours and data logging completed accurately and timely
Requirements:
* Class A CDL
* Minimum 21 years of age
* Must have at least 3 years experience, walking floor experience preferred
* Tanker and Doubles Endorsements preferred
* Proficiency with record keeping to meet State & Federal requirements
* Executes necessary precautions to ensure safety and compliance with Company, OSHA, and other standards and regulations.
* Interact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, improve efficiency
