Overview:
AquaClean Environmental a Shamrock Enviromental company is looking for an experienced Class A Driver to operate our commercial Tanker and Vac trucks with frequent stops/pick-ups.
Performs general manual labor tasks associated with Non-Hazardous and Hazardous materials.
Responsible for safely and efficiently delivering materials to our Lakeland, FL.
Responsibilities:
Drive and Operate commercial motor vehicles such as Vacuum trucks, Tankers, and Box Trucks.
Ensure the truck remains in proper and safe working order and that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis.
Maintain daily e-logs, safety & inspection reports, expense reports, and project reports while ensuring they are properly documented.
Must be willing to perform manual labor-related tasks to support projects.
Ensure the company’s health and safety culture, policies, and requirements are met.
Comply with all Federal, State, and local laws regulating safe driving and the safe and proper handling of hazardous materials.
Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customers and co-workers.
Ability to be on call for emergency response (on a rotational schedule basis).
Ability to perform work based on task conditions and hazards.
Maintain appropriate driver's license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL
Clear Driving Record
TANK and HAZMAT Endorsements
Must drive 10 speed Manual Transmission, no restriction
A history of DOT compliance and safety is required
Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines
Ability to travel overnight as required on occasion
Frequently lift 40-50 pounds
Willingness & ability to frequently climb ladders, stairs, etc.
Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
Willing to obtain Tanker and/or Hazmat endorsements within a specified time frame.
