Main Duties & Responsibilities: Primary Job Role Actively participates in all safety initiatives and promotes company culture and policies.
Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to and from specified destinations.
Prepares delivery records.
Maintains all truck log/records in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
Maintains proper communication (phone, email, radio) with manager and dispatcher as needed.
Loads and unloads truck as required and uses proper blocking and tie down methods as required to maintain a safe and secure load.
Inspects truck, equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas/fuel, oil and water.
Reports any safety concerns or needed repairs indicated by inspection.
Maintain company standards in housekeeping and contamination control.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Education and Experience Formal Education High School diploma or GED Experience 3-4 years Required / Credentials Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
Must possess appropriate CDL license Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria Familiar with operating mobile equipment, trucks, cranes, forklifts and high lifts.
Fork Lift experience and certification Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills Updating of Knowledge Job requirements occasionally change requiring re-training to stay current every 3-5 years.
