Claussen's Furniture is seeking a delivery associate to begin immediately.
The ideal candidate will be a high school graduate who is able to communicate effectively, work in a team environment, have a positive attitude, and be able to lift heavy items.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have a clean, neat personal appearance, understand the importance of great customer service and be enthusiastic about their role as an ambassador for the company.
Also, the candidate must have a good driving record and a valid driver's license.
Job responsibilities include receiving and warehousing furniture, assembling furniture, light janitorial responsibilities, delivering and setting up furniture in customers' homes and our showrooms.
Some pieces may exceed _150 pounds_.
All prospective candidates must pass a background check and drug screen.
This position is a full-time job with a 40 hour work week - 5 days a week, one of which is Saturday but always off on Sunday.
