CDL Class A Driver - Hot Shot/Flatbed Trailer/OTR

Responsibilities: - Safely operate a Diesel 2021 RAM Truck and a Big Tex 2023 40' 22GN Gooseneck Flatbed Trailer - Transport goods and materials to designated locations - Supervise Loading and Unloading of cargo at shipping & receiving locations - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly inform Cher Transport of any potential issues and/or breakdowns - Report any issues or accidents to the Cher Transport immediately - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups - Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members Skills: - Proficient in route driving and navigation - Knowledge of automotive pre-trip & post-trip inspections (for example: Oil level check) - Experience hauling heavy loads is required - Ability to secure Flatbed Trailer cargo safely and efficiently - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
