*OVER THE ROAD TRUCK DRIVER*

*POSITION PURPOSE*
Responsible for effectively, efficiently and safely driving a company transport vehicle with trailer on local and CROSS COUNTRY RUNS to deliver equipment as well pick up of parts from vendors.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:* High school diploma or equivalent preferred plus a minimum of two years relevant driving experience.
*REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/ *
*SKILLS/ABILITIES: *Ability to work safely and follow all company policies and procedures.
Ability to read and use maps and other electronic directional aids.
Ability to strap down regular and oversize loads safely.
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS:* Sitting for long periods of time, standing, stooping, reaching, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
*WORK ENVIRONMENT:* Work performed outdoors in and around trucks which may be at a customers’ place of business or on the highway.
Exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, rain, chemicals and other elements.
*OTHER: *Valid Class A CDL driver license.
Maintain an acceptable annual Motor
Vehicle Record Grading Score (MVR).
Meet established government guidelines related to DOT (including physical with five panel drug screen).

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES*
1.
Maintains communication with the Operations Manager on a daily basis.
2.
Drives company truck to deliver sprayers and other goods to customer’s sites.
3.
Drives materials to vendor locations and picks up materials from locations.
4.
Responsible for pre-trip inspection of truck and inspection of each trailer hooked to the truck.
A.
Reports all faulty or dangerous equipment to Management personnel immediately.
5.
Complete electronic logging entries using ELD software (iPad and iPhone provided) that details each pickup,, delivery and bobtail run of the day.
6.
Operates the vehicle in a manner consistent with reasonable practices, including keeping the vehicle clean inside and out and ensuring the vehicle is serviced every 6,000 miles.
7.
Abides by all local, state and federal regulations and traffic laws pertaining to the functions of driver of the company’s vehicles.
8.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
