PT CDL Driver

CDL Driver The before and after care program, a ministry of Church for the One (aka Highland Park Church) is seeking a part time CDL driver.
The before and after care program provides care for school-age children, and transports them to and from schools, as well as provide transportation to and from field trips in the summer.
It is important that the candidate exemplify spiritual character and integrity in both his/her private and public life.
The CDL Driver will: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure safety of staff and students during routes and field trips.
Ensure that the vehicle has adequate amount of gas for the route/trip assigned.
Follow all traffic laws Provide safe and efficient transportation during routes to schools and field trips.
Conduct post-trip inspections Complete all documentation required by licensing and the before and after school program.
Communicate all issues regarding the vehicle to director or designated supervisor.
Interact with office personnel and teaching staff in a positive manner.
Attend staff meetings and planning sessions as requested by Director.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Director.
Candidate must: Be at least 25 years of age Have a High School Diploma or GED Have a CDL (Class A, B, or C) driver’s license with passenger endorsement Pass a Level II Background Screening Pass a DOT physical Have a clean safe driving record Be available to drive 6:45-8:30am and 2:00-4:00pm Monday-Friday (split shift) AND 3 days a week in the summer.
Be able to follow verbal and written communication from management staff.
ONE MAJOR BENEFIT TO NOTE: if you work anywhere between 5-10 hrs in a pay week you get paid for 10 hrs, if you work between 11-20 hours in a pay week you get paid for 20 hrs.
