Driver - Lakeland

The CDL truck driver is responsible for transporting products to the customer and for loading, unloading, and inventorying products warehoused at NAC Branch Locations.
Employees should strive to promote customer relations, maintain equipment, and complete all required reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Transport outbound orders from the distribution center to customers in assigned areas.
Pickup inbound orders from suppliers and transport them to the distribution center or customer location as required.
Use a forklift and/or electric pallet jack to load and secure shipments and placard each transport vehicle properly.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections pre- and post-trip as well as identify, report, and record safety defects.
Review all shipping documents and ensure they are accurate.
Obtain customers’ signatures on paperwork at the time of delivery.
Complete driver logs and other required paperwork.
Maintain licenses and permits in the vehicle permit book.
Routes are Monday - Friday (40+ hours per week).
Home every night.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Must possess a valid Class A Driver’s License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years) 2+ Years of CDL Truck Driving, Class A Experience with 1+ Years of city driving.
Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements, Bulk Endorsement.
Experience using forklift and electric pallet jack strongly preferred.
