Pre-Suit Personal Injury Attorney

Responsibilities: - Managing the day-to-day handling of a full case load with pre-suit files - Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on civil matters - Collaborate with colleagues and senior attorneys on complex cases - Outstanding negotiation, communication, and presentation skills - Conduct client interviews and gather necessary information for case evaluation - Document injuries and expenses - Calculate damages on pre-suit cases - Interview witnesses - Review medical documents - Counsel clients through the entire claims process - Prepare settlement demand packages and negotiate settlements with insurance companies Skills: - Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school - Admission to the state bar association - Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, preferably in personal injury - Strong knowledge of legal principals and procedures - Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously - Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients' interests - Proficient in legal research using platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis - Excellent writing skills to draft legal documents and correspondence - Detail-oriented with strong research skills to gather relevant case information - Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices Compensation: - Pay is commensurate with experience Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
