Gulf Winds Wildlife sanctuary is a 501C-3 animal rescue that focuses on wildlife and birds.
We have had a few birds come into our sanctuary that have had major behavioral issues due to being swapped around from home to home, so we decided to add
a bird rescue onto our wildlife sanctuary to hopefully help with this.
We would like to offer birds a permanent stable environments at our sanctuary instead of having them swapped around from person to person.
This is extremely hard on not only the birds, but all animals.
Most animals including birds that arrive at our sanctuary with behavior issues do well once they get aquatinted with our sanctuary and our regular routines, and the behavior issues that they arrived with slowly but surly dissipate, and the animal become more relaxed and happier.
All animals, including birds that come into our sanctuary will have a PERMANENT home with us.
Do to this, please don’t call asking if we have birds available.
The answer will be no.
